Technically yes, but it's worth knowing what you're signing up for first. The road into Altyn Arashan gorge climbs roughly 12km on a rough, rutted track that gains significant altitude — a regular sedan won't make it, and even some SUVs struggle in wet conditions.
Independent options include hiring a local driver with a UAZ (the Soviet-era 4x4 minivan almost everyone uses here) from the village of Ak-Suu, or walking the full route, which takes most of a day one-way and is a serious hike rather than a stroll.
What a driver won't necessarily do: know which hot spring pools are actually open that day, negotiate a fair local rate on your behalf, or build in time so you're not rushing back down before dark. That's really the whole value of booking the transfer with us rather than arranging it independently — same UAZ ride, but planned properly.
