Lenin Peak, at 7,134m, is one of Central Asia's most climbed 7,000m peaks — and even without attempting the summit, its base camp in the Pamir-Alay range near Osh is a serious trekking destination in its own right.
Getting there means traveling to the Alay valley (via Sary-Mogol or Sary-Tash) and trekking in with proper acclimatization built into the schedule — this isn't a casual add-on to an Issyk-Kul trip. You don't need technical climbing skills to reach base camp, but you do need real trekking fitness and, ideally, prior experience at altitude.
